Now in its fifth year, the National Advanced Air Mobility Industry Forum (NAAMIF) has become a gathering point for the people and organizations working to move advanced air mobility forward.

Hosted at the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence in Springfield, Ohio, NAAMIF brings together leaders from across industry, government, defense, academia, research, and economic development for meaningful conversations about the future of aviation.

As the industry moves from development and demonstration toward integration and scale, NAAMIF provides a place to examine what comes next — the challenges that still need to be solved, the capabilities that need to be built, and the partnerships that will make progress possible.

2026 Programming

  • Hear directly from those working through the realities of integrating advanced air mobility into the existing aviation system. This panel will explore lessons learned from the FAA’s eIPP, the challenges encountered along the way, and what those experiences can teach the industry as integration continues to evolve.

  • Explore the growing intersection of advanced air mobility and national security. This fireside conversation will examine how emerging AAM technologies could support defense missions, where opportunities exist, and what it will take to turn innovative capabilities into meaningful operational solutions.

  • Go beyond the traditional conference session. NAAMIF’s interactive workshops bring participants together to tackle some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, share perspectives, and work toward practical takeaways. These sessions are designed to turn discussion into action.

  • Building a successful AAM industry requires more than aircraft. This panel will bring together leaders from across the ecosystem to discuss the workforce, manufacturing, supply chain, infrastructure, technology, and partnerships needed to build the capabilities necessary for AAM to scale.

  • Hear from a leading voice in aviation and advanced air mobility on the forces shaping the industry's next chapter. Our keynote will offer a big-picture perspective on where AAM is headed, the opportunities ahead, and what it will take to turn the vision of advanced air mobility into reality.

2026 Workshops

NAAMIF’s workshops are designed to move from discussion to collaboration and action. Each session brings participants together to examine a specific challenge facing Advanced Air Mobility, identify gaps and opportunities, and work toward practical takeaways that can be shared with the broader industry. Rather than simply presenting solutions, the workshops are intended to surface what we still need to figure out, who needs to be involved, and what steps can move the industry forward.

  • Moving an aircraft from a successful prototype to a scalable, operational system requires far more than a finished aircraft. This workshop will examine the infrastructure, operational, and ecosystem requirements needed to support AAM at scale — from facilities and charging to integration with existing aviation systems.

  • Advanced aircraft require an equally advanced digital ecosystem. This workshop will explore how digital engineering, data, certification, systems integration, and connected enterprise practices can help organizations move more efficiently from development through production and operations.

  • What will it take for AAM to become a normal part of everyday transportation? Examine the role of communities, communication, public perception and engagement in building understanding and acceptance of new aviation technologies.
